Machine-cut, hand-assembled Christmas craft
For a long time I have longed to build this kind of geometric pattern from different plywoods — squares in contrasting woods, laid out with a precision that borders on devotion. Cut through in simple line art, a small nativity scene shows faintly through the grain, letting the pattern breathe behind it. O Sacred Geometry! Both views wait in the gallery below.
